What level skier do you need to be?
Your entry level to the course depends on a number of factors so it's always best to contact us directly to discuss your level. You can email Gap director and BASI trainer, Lee Townend on for further information and guidance.  As a rough guide, to reach the required level within the 8 weeks before arriving, you need:

• To be able to ski all pisted runs competently and at a good speed
• To be able to ski the fall line on black runs
• To be reasonably fit
• To have a good mental attitude
• To be willing to try new things and take on board new information.

Roughly a minimum of 10 weeks previous skiing is a prerequisite but this can vary, it really depends on the individual.

*Test Technique Training
For those with prior race training experience you have the option of training for your Test Technique. This is a timed slalom test that combined with a BASI level 2 will qualify you to work in France for recognised ski schools. This is a unique opportunity only available with Snoworks Autumn Gap.
