Lee raises over £1,000 for DSUK

Well done to Lee for completing the most famous half marathon, The Great North Run and raising over £1,000 for a fantastic charity DSUK, Disability Snowsport UK.
For nearly 30 years, DSUK has provided for those with a disability to experience the joy of skiing alongside able-bodied skiers. DSUK also provides training and support for the British Disabled Ski Team. Their work often results in life-changing experiences.
It was a fantastic day, great weather, brilliant supportive crowd and atmosphere ranging from the red arrows flying overhead to local residents at the side of the road with slices of oranges and jelly babies for that all important energy boost.
Finishing with a respectful first half marathon time of 1hr 48 mins
(slower than Ben Fogle, but faster than Gordon Ramsay!), Lee is very grateful to all those who sponsored him. After the race, he said, "Watch this space as I have a
sneaky feeling my desire to run sub 1hr 45 will have me there again
next year!"
