DAY 01 / SAT 3 SEP
DEPART FROM EUROPE

DAY 02 / SUN 4 SEP
UK – SANTIAGO – TEMUCO AIRPORT- CORRALCO SKI RESORT
- From Santiago, fly directly south to Temuco
- Meet local agents from Amity, drive to first destination, Corralco, (3 hours)
- Arrive at little village of Malalcahuello, 5km from National Reserve
- Check into Malalcahuello Cabins, dinner, relax with welcome chat

DAY 03 / MON 5 SEP
SKI CORRALCO / LONQUMAY VOLCANO
- Drive to Corralco, small resort at base of Lonquimay Volcano, surrounded by Araucarias trees

- Options: off-piste skiing using lifts or
- Skin up to the crater,  3-4 hours from the top of the chairlift (&/or snowmobiles
)
- Dinner and lodging in Malalcahuello cabins

DAY 04 / TUES 6 SEP
SKI CORRALCO OR SKI ARAUCARIAS
- Two options: skiing in Corralco followed by drive to next destination, Araucarias
- Or earlier departure to Araucarias with afternoon skiing there

- 4 hour drive to Araucarias, arriving in Conguillío National Park

- Dinner and lodging in El Medina Cabins

DAY 05 / WED 7 SEP
SKI ARAUCARIAS / LLAIMA VOLCANO
- Two options: ski local lifts enjoying the off-piste at the base of the Volcano
- Or climb and ski from the top of Llaima Volcano (2-3 hours)

- Also later option of skinning up easier route and meeting rest of the group for off-piste descent

- Drive to Pucón (2½-hour drive), beautiful village set on the banks of Lake Villarrica

- Lodgings at El Dorado Cabins

NOTE: if by acts of nature the volcanic activity of Llaima increases, the itinerary may be changed with a further day at Corralco and one more night at Malalcahuello Cabins.

DAY 06 / THURS 8 SEP
PUCÓN / VILLARRICA VOLCANO
- Options: ski the local lifts, relax in the village, or take some time out
- Or climb and ski from the summit of Villarrica, an open crater with stunning views

- Lodgings and dinner at the cabins in Pucón

DAY 07 / FRI 9 SEP
PUCÓN / VILLARRICA VOLCANO
- Options: ski the local lifts, attempt the summit or enjoy Pucón
- In the afternoon, travel to Neltume and the Nature Reserve of Huilo-Huilo (3 hours)
- Check into the Huilo-Huilo Cabins, enjoy a meal, soak in the outdoor hot tubs

DAY 08 / SAT 10 SEP
HUILO HUILO / MOCHO & CHOSHUENCO VOLCANOES
- Take 4x4 pick-up trucks (no lifts) off-road, then 40 min ride by snowcat/snowmobile to base of volcanoes

- Short, easy skin (1 hour) to summit of Mocho, overlooking volcanoes Lanín and Villarrica

- Option to skin and climb to the top of Choshuenco, final 5m with crampons and ice axes

- Overnight lodgings in Huilo Huilo cabins

DAY 09 / SUN 11 SEP
HUILO HUILO / ANTILLANCA
- Depending on weather: further skiing in Huilo Huilo in the morning or

- Depart for Antillanca Ski Resort (5 hours), located in the Puyehue National Park, afternoon ski
- Overnight lodgings at Hotel Antillanca

DAY 10 / MON 12 SEP
ANTILLANCA / CASABLANCA VOLCANO / PUERTO VARAS
- Options: ski the resort using the local lifts or skin to the summit of Casablanca volcano
- Snowcat to base of Casablanca for everyone - ski off-piste back to resort or make ascent to summit
- Transfer to final destination, Puerto Varas by the Llanquihue Lake, fantastic views of the Osorno Volcano
- Overnight lodgings at Zajay Cabins

DAY 11 / TUES 13 SEP
OSORNO VOLCANO
- Options: ski the resort at the base of Osorno volcano with magnificient views across the lake
- Or skin up Osorno volcano, (tough 4-5 hours), 800m from summit, skis off crampons on for final ascent
- Overnight lodgings at Zajay Cabins

DAY 12 / WED 14 SEP
OSORNO VOLCANO / PUERTO VARAS
- Options: off-piste skiing using resort lifts, another attempt to summit Osorno, or relax in Puerto Varas

- Farewell dinner with our hosts from Amity
- Overnight lodgings at Zajay Cabins

DAY 13 / THURS 15 SEP
PUERTO VARAS – PUERTO MONTT – SANTIAGO
- Morning transfer from Puerto Varas to Puerto Montt’s Airport, fly to Santiago
- Take a look around the capital city of Chile, enjoy night life

- Overnight lodgings at Hotel Torremayor (meal not included for flexibility)

DAY 14 / FRI 16 SEP
FLIGHT SANTIAGO - EUROPE
- Transfer to Santiago International Airport for flight to Europe

BOOKING YOUR OUTBOUND FLIGHT
If booking an alternative flight to the Air Canada option, please make sure your international flight arrives in Santiago before the Air Canada flight at 09.25hrs on 4 September, leaving the UK on 3 September.

BOOKING YOUR RETURN FLIGHT
If booking an alternative flight to the Air Canada, we can arrange your own transfer to the airport from the hotel at any time on the 16 September at an approximate cost of £20. The transfer for the Air Canada flight will arrive at Santiago airport at 16.00hrs on the 16 September.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Skis
Skis with touring bindings, skins, and ski crampons are required. 
(These can be hired before travel if required).

Off-piste safety equipment
Transceiver, shovel, probe are required.
(These will be provided if you do not have them)

Backpack
With carrying straps for skis is essential.
