BUENOS AIRES
- Check into hotel NH Florida
- City walking tour of Buenos Aires, a vibrant city which comes alive at night
- Dinner with Tango show
DAY 03 / MON 22 AUG
BUENOS AIRES / NEUQUEN / CAVIAHUE
- Internal flight south to Neuquén, transfer to first destination in Argentina, the ski resort of Caviahue
- This is one of the bigger resorts, located at the foot of the Copahue Volcano in the National Park
- Pre-dinner welcome chat, meet our local partners, Amity, overnight lodgings in Hosteria del Sauquen
DAY 04 / TUES 23 AUG
SKI CAVIAHUE / COPAHUE VOLCANO BY SNOWCAT
- A full day's skiing at Caviahue, both on and off-piste
- In the afternoon, take a snowcat to the base of the Copahue Volcano, 8km off-piste descent back to resort
- In the evening dine at local restaurant, La Covacha, with overnight lodgings in Hosteria del Sauquen
DAY 05 / WED 24 AUG
SKI CAVIAHUE / OFF-PISTE SKIING WITH SNOWMOBILES
- A second day skiing at Caviahue, using snowmobiles to access more off-piste
- Overnight lodgings in Hosteria del Sauquen
DAY 06 / THURS 25 AUG
SKI CAVIAHUE / DRIVE TO CHILE
- Final morning in Caviahue with skiing on and off-piste
- In the afternoon depart for Chile across the Patagonia countryside (4-5 hours)
- Arrive in Malalcahuello, a tiny village near Lonquimay Volcano
- Check into Malalcahuello Thermal Hotel, relax in the stunning thermal baths
- 'Welcome to Chile' dinner at the home of Tio Pepe, one of the first locals we met over 10 years ago
DAY 07 / FRI 26 AUG 26
SKI LONQUIMAY VOLCANO / TRANSFER TO PUCÓN
- Head up to Corralco and Lonquimay Volcano, one of our favorite destinations
- Option to skin to top of Lonquimay Volcano, early start (4 hours), magnificent ski down
- Late afternoon transfer to next destination, Pucón
- Check into Antumalal Hotel, a stunning location on Lake Villarrica with beautiful gardens & waterfalls
- Enjoy a welcome Pisco Sour (Chile’s national drink) and a BBQ dinner
DAY 08 / SAT 27 AUG
SKI PUCÓN / VILLARRICA VOLCANO
- Ski the resort of Pucón, on and off-piste
- Option to skin up to summit of Villarrica Volcano (4-5 hours), with mesmerising views from the top
- Transport to hot springs and dinner at Quincho Tañi Ruka
- Overnight lodgings at Hotel Antumalal
DAY 09 / SUN 28 AUG
SKI PUCÓN / VILLARRICA VOLCANO / OTHER ACTIVITIES / HUILO HUILO
- Options: another attempt to reach summit of Villarrica, ski Pucón resort or relax
- Or enjoy other activities available such as horseback riding
- Depart for Huilo Huilo, in the middle of the Patagonian Andes, in the heart of the eco region Valdivia
- Overnight lodgings at the amazing Hotel Baobab
DAY 10 / MON 29 AUG
HUILO HUILO / MOCHO & CHOSUENCO VOLCANOES
- Transport by 4x4 trucks (no ski lifts) through native forest to the base of Mocho Volcano
- Transfer to snowmobiles to plateau towards summit of Mocho & Choshuenco volancoes
- Short skin (1 hour, easy) to summit of Mocho with stunning views, off-piste descent back to the hotel spa!
- Option to attempt summit of Chosheunco directly after Mocho
DAY 11 / TUES 30 AUG
HUILO HUILO TO ARGENTINA
- Transfer back to Argentina, taking ferry across Lake Pirehueico and over the border
- Full day travelling through fantastic countryside, stopping at pretty village of San Martin de Los Andes
- Arrive Villa La Angostura, situated in the Nahuel Huapi National Park
- Overnight lodgings at the amazing Hotel Dos Bahias, nestled on the bank of Lake Nahuel Huapi
DAY 12 / WED 31 AUG
CERRO BAYO/CERRO CATEDRAL
- Ski on and off-piste at either Cerro Bayo - a small resort with a few ski lifts but some amazing off-piste skiing, or Cerro Catedral - one of Argentina's biggest ski resorts
- Lodgings at Hosteria Dos Bahias with farewell dinner in town and 'hasta luego' to our hosts from Amity
DAY 13 / THURS 1 SEP
SKI CERRO BAYO/BUENOS AIRES
- Final half day skiing in Cerro Bayo
- Enjoy views across the Argentinean Patagonia and Lake Nahuel Huapi
- Time for lunch, change and transfer to Bariloche for internal flight to Buenos Aires
- Dinner and time to relax and reflect, overnight in Buenos Aires
DAY 14 / FRI 2 SEP

If booking an alternative flight to the Air Canada, make sure it departs after
the Air Canada flight at 15.50 on the 2nd September.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Ski touring equipment is required for this trip. Skis with touring bindings, skins, and ski crampons. These can be hired before travel if required. Off-piste safety equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe) will be provided if necessary. A backpack with carrying straps for skis is essential.
