At Snoworks we have a dream, to ski exotic destinations with richly varied cultures. In 2002 we headed for South America and over the last 12 years we have created and fine-tuned one of the most diverse ski adventures you will find anywhere in the world.
Ski South America is a no holds-barred ski extravaganza combining amazing skiing experiences, spectacular southern-hemisphere winter scenery with extraordinary local culture – skiing Chilean and Argentinian ski resorts in the Lakes and Volcano District and staying in some extraordinary places.
Ski South America is designed for competent skiers. (Snoworks Levels 4, 5 & 6). If unsure of your level please enquire to our office.
We’ve created an itinerary to cater for a difference in skill level and aspirations. At most destinations you have the option of skiing on or off-piste accessed by mechanical uplift wherever possible, as well as the option of skinning, climbing and skiing from the summit of volcanoes. In Huilo Huilo in Chile there are only off-piste options. This itinerary is ideally suited for those with off-piste aspirations.
Instruction / Guiding / Hosting
A Snowork instructors will host the trip along with our local Chilean hosts from Amity Tours who also provide the local mountain guide, Guido and with whom we will organise the on-snow schedule. Groups will vary depending on the resort, the objectives of each day and the prevailing weather conditions.
On our Adventure trips, off-piste instruction to
develop performance is balanced with off-piste experiences, with our
instructor working more in a 'coaching role'. On some days the
instructor may organise sessions aimed
at developing off-piste performance, on others the Snoworks instructor will be organising
assents of the volcanoes or searching out the best off-piste skiing
accessed by mechanical uplift. Ensuring you have the best experience
possible (and the safest) is always their top priority.
"This truly is an experience of a lifetime, well-organised and great fun from start to finish."

"I couldn't imagine getting that much into a
holiday whilst still having time to massively improve my skiing and
getting me both up and down places I could not have imagined and will
never forget. I now know why I have to go to work - to pay for more of

I had some stunning ski days that will be
difficult to top, Lonquimay was the highlight ... so much powder
all to ourselves! Lee and Gareth did a brilliant job on and off
the snow... as did our Amity hosts who really went out of their way for us,
together with a great bunch of people, made this one of the best
holidays I've ever had!
