8. By accepting these terms and conditions, entrants warrant that their entry is all their own work and does not include anything (including but not limited to images and music) that is owned by a third party or would require the consent of a third party. Any music or sound effects must be your own original composition and recording.
9. Entrants must also warrant that they have gained the consent of anyone featured in the submission free of any fee or any other usage restriction. Where the entry features anyone under the age of 18, written parental consent must also be obtained before submission.
10. All entries will need to be approved by Snoworks before they are posted to the Snoworks Video Gallery pages. Any decision by Snoworks to reject an entry is final and will be at their sole discretion.
11. Any submission that is deemed inappropriate for any reason will be disqualified at the absolute discretion of Snoworks. This includes images, texts, music or soundtrack that may be considered offensive or defamatory or have been previously published, copyrighted (by somebody other than the entrant) or are otherwise contrary to the spirit of the competition or any of the specific rules. Items submitted that identify an individual who has not given their consent to appear or those clearly featuring advertising or trademarks will also be liable to disqualification.
12. If posted material is identified as being inappropriate for any reason, Snoworks reserves the right at any time to remove it from the website and disqualify the owner from the competition. (For example if an entry is accepted, but later identified as including a copyrighted image from a film or magazine where the entrant was not the photographer or the copyright holder. This also applies to music - if Snoworks is notified that that the music is not the original work of the owner after it has been displayed on the site, Snoworks will disqualify the entry immediately.)
13. By uploading entries to the video commerical competition, entrants agree to grant to Snoworks a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and otherwise use the submitted material online and in any other media as part of the competition and the surrounding publicity. Entrants will still own the copyright to their entry and will be given full credit for the work.
How will the prizes be awarded?
14. All valid entries will be posted onto the Snoworks Video Gallery pages and visitors will be able to vote for their favourite. After the closing date, the 3 entries receiving the most votes will be given to the judges, Monty Halls and Emma Carrick Anderson who will select the overall winner and 50 runners-up. Any attempt by individuals or others to make multiple votes or otherwise attempt to manipulate the voting system will result in all such votes being disqualified.
21. Entrants agree to be bound by all the entry instructions of which these terms and conditions form a part. Failure to conform to these terms and conditions may render your submission invalid.
