One To One

Just think how much extra training you could get with your own private instructor. The time totally dedicated to your own individual needs and aspirations. How many weeks of ski school or instruction would that equate to?

Since 2008 we have highlighted certain weeks where you can do just that - book your own private Snoworks instructor. You can book either 'one to one' or bring out your own group and divide the cost between you.


One To One - you and the instructor

Focus completely on: off-piste, bumps, steep terrain, ice (!), carving or develop your technical skiing. You can take complete charge of your own learning, decide the pace, the content and even the terrain. Alternatively hand it all over to us and we will decide what you need to work on. The choice is yours.

When you book a Snoworks 'One To One', you're booking one of the top instructors in the UK.

Phil Smith

Phil spent nearly 15 years working for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors training instructors to the highest levels. He was a member of the BASI 'Alpine Consultancy Group' and the BASI Demonstration Ski Team. He holds a Diploma in Sports Coaching and is the key architect of the Snoworks Philosophy.

Emma Carrick-Anderson

Emma's name speaks for itself. 4 Olympic Games, a member of the British Ski team for 12 years, one of Britain's most successful ever skiers, numerous world cups and world championships and a highest ranking of 11th in the World Championships. Need we say more!

Lee Townend

Lee has flown through the system and is one of the UK's brightest up and coming instructors. His thirst for knowledge and improvement is unquenchable. Lee joined us in 2007 (to be correct he was head-hunted) and since then has become one of the most popular instructors amongst our guests. He is a BASI Snowsports Tutor and ISTD.

One to One Costs
One Person: £1,000
Two Persons: £1,100
Three Persons: £1,200

For 3 hours per day for 5 days from Monday to Friday, you will have your own private Snoworks instructor. Also included are two 'One to One' after-ski video analysis sessions on day 2 and day 4, plus an end of week 'Development Plan'. The knowledge and skills you will take away with you from your 'One To One' will place you firmly in charge of your development.

Other options may be available eg. Full days and less time. Please email us with your requirements and we may be able to tailor a 'One to One' specific to your hourly/weekly needs.

Resorts
During the winter our three 'One To One' instructors are based in Courchevel. So any of the resorts of Courchevel (1300, La Tania, 1550, 1650, 1850) and Méribel are options. In the autumn and summer our 'One To One' instructors are based in Tignes.

One To One in the Autumn
This is the perfect time to invest in your development. We are based in Tignes from October to December. A 'One To One' pre-season means you can totally dedicate yourself to improving without it affecting your winter plans. Put the time in beforehand then reap the benefits. 'One To Ones' will only be available on certain weeks. Check Dates and Prices for details.

One to One for two or three
If you have your own small group of two or three persons you can use the 'One To One' service and split the cost between you. The choice is yours. Ideally you would all be of similar level and aspirations or if you are different levels you can split the time between members of your group.

One To One for Ski Instructor Training
If you're a ski instructor training for your exams you can get a group of instructors together and split the cost between you. Phil Smith worked as a BASI trainer for nearly 15 years. In that time he was responsible for helping shape the current syllabus and trained up to ISTD technical level. Emma Carrick-Anderson is ISTD and a four-time Olympic skier. Lee Townend is an ISTD and BASI Tutor.
