FOR NOVICES /INTERMEDIATES / ADVANCED / EXPERT & PRO SKIERS
Whether you're an novice, intermediate or experienced skier – at Snoworks we're driven by a desire to help every skier realise their potential by making sure you know how to make the most of your time on the slopes and in the mountains, discovering how and where to find the best skiing experiences the world has to offer.
We want you to love skiing as much as we do!
Courses are available to all skiers from our level 3 upwards (intermediate red run skiers), with numerous groups of varying levels every week. We are currently looking at including courses for beginners and novices (levels 1 & 2) so please contact our office if you fit into these categories.
Search out the best snow and conditions, improve your skiing and ski with like-minded skiers of a similar ability. We have it all covered.
For PRO Levels, click here includes BASI levels 1, 2, 3 (ISIA), 4 (ISTD), Test Technique, Eurotest, FIS Race Training
WORKING OUT YOUR LEVEL
For maximum enjoyment of your on-snow experience you need to be skiing with other skiers of a similar level. At Snoworks we often have between 4 to 6 groups of varying ability levels running every week. This means we can cater for a wide selection of ability levels, making sure your on-snow experience is not left to chance.
We’ve described below the type of skier you may be and listed these in levels from 1 to 7. We recognise that it can often be difficult to say exactly the type of skier you are or the level you’ve reached, so a rough judgement is normally good enough.
When you call our office we’ll help you choose the best and most suitable course. Our office can also patch you directly through to our on-snow team of instructors to discuss your level directly. They will also chat to you in the resort on the evening before the course starts and you can even move levels during the week up and down as required.
Check your level against the descriptions below.
BEGINNERS - GREEN RUNS
If you’ve never skied before give us a call so we can advise what’s best for you. Although our courses cater predominently for intermediate skiers upwards we can still advise you on a suitable ski school or instructor in the resort, so it’s easy for you to come with friends who may be taking Snoworks courses for level 3 or 4 upwards. If there are a number of you with no experience we may be able to tailor-make a group or arrange a One to One (private) group.
We are currently looking at the possiblility of organising courses on certain weeks for complete beginers so please enquire with our office.
iSKI: Call our booking office for more details.
NOVICES - BLUE RUNS
You can ski those Greens and Blues. Even though you're not quite up to our minimum ski course level on most of our courses, we can still advise you on a suitable ski school or instructor in the resort, making it easy for you to come with friends who may be taking Snoworks courses. If there are a number of you at the same level we may be able to tailor-make a group or arrange a One to One (private) group.
We are currently looking at the possiblility of organising courses on certain weeks for novices so please enquire with our office.
iSKI: Call our booking office with your requirements.
INTERMEDIATES - RED RUNS
Click here for FAQ's For intermediate skiers
Your entry into the Snoworks SKI courses programme and a whole new world of skiing.
This is where your journey into All-Terrain can start. You’ve reached that level which is commonly known as the 'Intermediate Plateau'. You can ski all the Blues and Reds providing the terrain is pisted, with good visibility and good snow.
This is the big change and where Snoworks is in a class of its own. You’re moving from what we call the ‘closed’ environment into an ‘open’ environment - it's like someone going from cycling on a cycle track to moving ‘off road’. The rules change.
Why intermediate skiers should come skiing with Snoworks

ELITE - ALL-MOUNTAIN
You are a competent all-mountain skier with a fitness level to ski hard and fast all day everyday whilst searching out the steepest and deepest terrain on the mountain.
Can’t find anyone your level? Welcome to Snoworks level 7.
We recognise the better you get, the harder it is to find people to ski with and share those experiences. So on certain weeks throughout the season we’ve dedicated All-Terrain, All-Terrain Safaris, Off-Piste and Backcountry weeks to level 7 skiers. We search out the most challenging skiing on the mountain so you can share unforgetable skiing experiences with other like-minded skiers.

CAN'T FIND A SUITABLE LEVEL 7 COURSE?
Although we have dedicated weeks for level 7 skiers you can also join in any week where level 6 groups are advertised. Level 6 skiers can ski everywhere on the mountain so you will still find these weeks suitable.
Choose from Courses for Level 6 HERE
NOTE:
Dedicated level 7 courses are generally reserved for skiers that have skied with
Snoworks before so we are familiar with your level. If you are a level 7 but have not skied with Snoworks
before, we reserve the right to change groups for you if we
find that you are not at the required level. We have many suitable
courses running so we can slot you into an appropriate level. You can
also choose to move groups during the week if you find level 7 is too high.
NOTES
If you misjudge your level completely and are below the minimal level described for the course we may need to source alternative instruction in the resort. We’ll still make sure you get the best available instruction for your level, using the course fee you have paid to arrange equivalent instruction.
