As a teenager I used to attend many training sessions on the UK dry ski slopes which are still dotted around the country. Many a Saturday night I could be found mincing (yes mincing) around at Telford dry ski slope in my corduroy trousers and rear entry boots! This folks was my foundation into the world of skiing (although no mincing these days). Dry ski slopes can help you make the breakthroughs you are looking for in your skiing.
How often do you get to ski moguls on a 1 week course or holiday? A day, a couple of runs a day? Long runs, powder and the urge to carve all detract from the desire and eventual joy of skiing moguls well?
Whether you’re training for your ski instructor exams or improving your personal performance, the UK Snowdomes are a fantastic way of topping up, maintaining and focussing on developing your bump skiing during the off-season.
“Moguls, why would I want to ski them?” you say. Avoid them, go round them, over them, love them or hate them, they are the ‘marmite’ of the skiing world. Some of you may need to ski them for a ski instructor exam. The rest of you will intentionally or unintentionally come across them on a piste you expected to be groomed or at the end of an epic off-piste route where the terrain narrows and the volume of traffic has caused the terrain to become bumpy.
Trust me moguls are great fun and not so bad for the knees once you get to grips with them.
We will help you improve all the skills that are needed to successfully ski moguls with control, confidence and dare I say enjoyment.
