Ski the fantastic mountains of the famous Silk Road

In true Snoworks style join us for a stunning back country touring adventure in this virtually undiscovered area of central Asia.  New for 2019, Kyrgyzstan is a rugged country along the famous Silk Road – the ancient trade route between China and the Mediterranean – bordered by China, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.  The Tian Shan mountains which surround the old caravan route are home to fantastic wildlife such as snow leopards and lynx.  This is a ski touring adventure with a unique chance to discover the raw beauty of this country staying in traditional yurts in the heart of the mountains.

Inspired by Snoworks instructor, Lee Townend’s epic Silk Road Mountain Race this summer – read his blog
