An exciting Backcountry Access ski touring trip to Iceland.

The Troll Peninsular in the north of Iceland is an off-piste skier’s dream with mountains cascading into the sea.  Perfect ski touring snow, long daylight hours, and stunning skiing looking down to the mighty Atlantic and Arctic oceans. From steep couloirs to milder but still engaging slopes, the terrain can accommodate all levels of backcountry skiers.

A true one-of-a-kind experience with fantastic views of the surrounding fjords and the magnificent glow of Iceland’s iconic northern lights.

 

Iceland Ski Adventure is for:

Experienced off piste skiers: levels 5 and above

Skiers with a good level of fitness to skin and ski all day for 6 days

  • 6 x full days’ backcountry skinning and skiing with Snoworks instructor
  • Full board (including packed lunch for 6 days) in twin shared accommodation in Siglo hotel (single occupancy on request)
  • Return transfers from Akureyri
  • Transfers to ski areas
  • Snoworks instructor and host for duration of the trip
