TRAVEL SUGGESTIONS

By Road – a 9/10 hour drive from Calais.

By Air – fly to Geneva and either book a transfer or hire a car
Transfers Geneva to Tignes

Transfers – Peak Feeling
Depart Geneva Saturday 26th November 1400 (Book a flight that lands before 1330)
Arrive Geneva 12pm Saturday 3rd December (Book a flight that departs after 1330)

By Rail – closest station is Bourg St Maurice, transfer up to Tignes by local bus or taxi

Itinerary

TIGNES – THE UPLIFT AND SLOPES
Tignes opens on November 16th to kick off the start of the season. Val plans to open a week later. For this opening week the Grande Motte glacier will be open and conditions are exceptional up high. Tignes will be hoping to have the following lifts open:

  • Funicular Perce Neige
  • Telecabine Grande Motte
  • Lanche
  • Vanoise
  • Tichot
  • Gratalu

Other lifts maybe opening up. For the season opener there’s plenty of scope to have the most amazing weeks skiing.
