Extended Performance Training

Invest in taking your skiing to the next level

Snoworks ‘Extended Performance Training’ is for skiers who have the desire and time to invest into improving their skiing.

Based in Tignes during the autumn, you can work on developing your performance for any amount of time up to 10 consective weeks, depending on how much time you have.

Just when you feel you are ‘getting to grips’ with a new skill it’s often time to pack the skis away and head back home. Imagine the improvement when time restrictions are lifted.

WHY AUTUMN?
Autumn is the time that all serious skiers invest into their skiing. It’s the build up to the winter. It’s the time to practice new skills and drills and ingrain them into the subconscious ready for the winter. It’s a lot cheaper. Accommodation is cheaper, ski passes are cheaper, training is cheaper. All in all it’s the perfect time.

WHY TIGNES?
Tignes is blessed with more or less skiing all year round. The glacier closes for a few weeks in September and early October then re-opens in the middle of October ready for autumn training.

TAILOR MADE TRAINING
Extended Performance Training is designed around the time you have available, your needs, your level, your budget. Call our office or drop us an email to discuss your needs.

“I was getting frustrated with my skiing. Just when I thought I was getting it, it was always time to go home. Knowing I had 8 consecutive weeks of training I could just relax into the job of getting better. I’ve never looked back”

“Wow, what a difference knowing I did not have to go home after one or two weeks’

HOW WILL THE TRAINING BE STRUCTURES?
Throughout the autumn we have different courses running for different needs and levels. Autumn Technical, Race Carve, Instructor Training, Race Camps and in December, All-Terrain and Off-Piste. We structure the ‘Extended Performance Training around our courses. You can slot onto the appropriate course each week depending on your level and your needs and this can change from week to week, even day to day. It’s totally flexible and can be adjusted as your training progresses, swapping between groups as required. The training is totally tailored to your needs.
