Ski The Steeps

For those who are keen to ski steeper terrain in smaller tailored groups. The course is split between developing skills for safe ‘steep’ skiing and expert guiding from Snoworks coaches that are totally familiar with the routes and area so safety is the number one priority.

Level 6 & 7: Very competent off-piste skiers in all conditions

Good fitness level for hiking up steep slopes

A good head for heights

  • Ski Touring equipment with ski crampons required. This is not a ski touring course. Skins are used for access only to terrain where necessary.
  • Backpack with carrying straps for skis. Snoworks can provide backpacks if required.
  • Airbag recommended
  • Off-Piste skis with a recommendation of over 95mm under foot
  • Specialist climbing or mountaineering equipment (ropes, crampons, ice axes) are not used on the Steeps Course to access itineraries. Ropes may be used for emergencies.
  • Many itineraries are accessed directly from the ski lifts.
