Lee Townend

I’m a full time member of the Snoworks team, and heavily involved in developing the Snoworks programme.  I joined Snoworks many seasons ago, having worked in both the Alps and New Zealand.

The greatest thing about Snoworks is that we are always developing, looking for new and exciting venues and new ways of helping you to develop your skiing and achieve your goals.  Every week is different.  Compare that with working in a ski school and you can see why every single Snoworks instructor and guide have big smiles on their faces. Of course if we have big smiles then the likelihood is you will too.

I’m also the course Director for Snoworks GAP.  The Snoworks GAP programme is unique – you can train and qualify as a ski instructor in time to teach (and earn!) in the same winter season. So you can see why it’s popular. We’re based in Tignes and train up on the glacier throughout the autumn and students are fully qualified by mid December.

I also host many of the Adventure courses. For most of the winter I’m based in The Three Valleys so if you’re coming on any Snoworks courses in La Tania or Brides Les Bains then I’ll get to meet you.

Hopefully I’ll get the chance to ski with you soon.
