Founded by Phil Smith in the late 1980’s, the first ever ‘ski courses’ company has now evolved into Snoworks and has transformed the abilities and experiences of thousands of skiers across the years, a track record we’re really proud of. We’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of the way we ski, how we learn to ski and where we ski – that’s why all our courses are based on a simple, effective toolbox of skiing skills, designed to open up a whole new world of all mountain skiing.

Managing Director and founder of Snoworks. He is a BASI level 4 instructor and has over 40+ seasons of experience working all over the world. Phil developed our Snoworks philosophies, breaking away from the techniques and methods taught in ski schools for a ‘skills’ approach to ski teaching. His innovation, passion and drive makes Phil one of the most skilled, versatile and knowledgable instructors there is.
Lee has worked with Snoworks for 15 seasons. He is a BASI level 4 instructor and BASI examiner with 25 winter seasons as an instructor under his belt. Lee will always give 110% every time you ski with him. His passion and enthusiasm towards providing the highest quality training, enjoyment and client satisfaction knows no bounds.
Linda has been with Snoworks from the start and is in charge of everything behind the scenes. She knows the Snoworks product better than anyone and has met and skied with many of our skiers. She previously worked extensively in the travel industry. Call or email her with any of your questions.
Euan has worked with Snoworks for 10 seasons. He is a BASI level 4 instructor. He loves to travel, explore and seek out new places, especially if there is powder! He is passionate about the Snoworks philosophy enabling people to ski the whole mountain and has become a firm favourite with many of our skiers.
Dave has been working for Snoworks for 13 seasons and he has a massive amount of experience having worked all over the world over the last 30+ seasons with skiers of all levels. He is a BASI level 4 instructor and has been involved in teaching future ski instructors on Snoworks Gap courses alongside our main ski courses programme.
Jenny joined Snoworks full time 7 years ago and she has an amazing and infectious enthusiasm to help our skiers progress. She is French BEES Diploma qualified with a background in ski racing. She is a fluent French speaker and absolutely loves living and working the mountains. Jenny has helped to develop our junior Shred weeks.
Sam is the newest member of the Snoworks team. He is great fun and has unprecedented amounts of passion and experience to sharpen your skiing skills at all levels. He is a BASI level 4 instructor and BASI examiner and works alongside Lee on our Snoworks Pro courses. Sam took a key role in the development of the new Freeride course.
Emma’s speciality is in ski racing, having competed in 4 Olympic games for Team GB. She is also a BASI level 4 instructor. She is one of the main coaches for Snoworks Race Camps training young racers, including her three sons. The Snoworks open philosophies are applied in her coaching with great success.
