I’m the Managing Director, founder and pioneer of the Snoworks all-mountain programme.
I started skiing at a young age in the UK and then became involved in racing. However it was teaching that really took my fancy and before my 18th birthday I was off for my first full time season ski teaching. I gradually became frustrated with the rigid structure of ski schools and how skiing was taught. It was taught like a demonstration rather than a free moving sport. As we moved into all-mountain skiing and developed Snoworks it was obvious we were going to need to break away from the techniques and methods taught in ski school and adopt a ‘skills’ approach to learning to ski. The ‘skills’ approach now forms the basis of most governing bodies throughout the world.
The Snoworks programme is constantly evolving. You can keep up to date with all our latest news, views and ideas by going onto the Snoworks Blog.
More recently I’ve switched into running Snoworks Race Camps as our three boys are heavily into ski racing at an international level but I am involved in overseeing the whole of the Snoworks programme.
