Emma Carrick-Anderson, 4-time Olympian

Snoworks Co-Director, Emma Carrick-Anderson, was Britain’s fastest-ever female slalom ski racer and now she’s waiting to TRAIN you!!

Emma retired from international ski racing in 2004 following a successful career competing in numerous World Cups, 6 World Championships and 4 Olympic Games. Before retirement, she met Snoworks’ founding Director, Phil Smith, creating a formidable partnership, leading to their marriage.

Emma’s international ski racing experience and enthusiasm has been immensely beneficial to all Snoworks’ course programmes, particularly PRO, training instructors through Eurotest, Test Technique and FIS racing coaching.

Her recent appointment as Instructor-Trainer for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors further raises the profile of Snoworks.

Off the mountain, Emma can often be seen and heard commentating for Eurosport and was the BBC’s leading female commentator at the Winter Olympics in 2006.
