FAQ's

What's the difference between the Off Piste and Backcountry Courses?

Both courses feature off piste skiing. Off Piste courses are half days with Snoworks instructors and Backcountry Courses are full days either with Snoworks instructors, or a combination of Snoworks instructors and local ski guides (depending on the resort). Some Backcountry courses use ski touring equipment to access routes.

Are lift passes included in your course fees?

No.  Please purchase these when you arrive in resort. The one exception is Hintertux – lift passes are included in the price.

I can’t come out for the full week, can I still join a course?

Yes. We can offer you shorter durations from Monday to Friday and the cost will be pro rata. However we strongly recommend joining at the beginning of the week please.

This was our first time in St Anton (very much not our first time with Snoworks though!). Unsurprisingly, with Lee at the helm, the on-the-ground organisation from Snoworks was impeccable. As a somewhat nervous skier, I really appreciated Lee’s patience and guidance and my skiing definitely made a couple of wee breakthroughs thanks to his instruction. The one element we hadn’t experienced before and were unsure of prior to arrival was the alternating between days with instructors and days with guides – but we couldn’t have been happier with our experience with Florian! He read the group (which was quite a diverse one) perfectly and put together days of adventures that were perfect, even managing to find the one ray of sunshine on the mountain on a white-out morning! Thanks as always to all at Snoworks for an incredible week on the slopes – can’t wait till our next Snoworks course!

A fantastic balance allowing people to challenge personal boundaries within a safe but testing environment. The piste is now purely a road to the adventure that is Backcountry!

Another fantastic week with the Snoworks team! Their enthusiasm, passion and sheer skill are inspirational. What a refreshing change to have such a straight forward no nonsense approach to exploring the mountain.
