Skills development for off piste skiing
For skiers who want to get away from the crowded pistes. Snoworks has revolutionised off piste skiing using easy to learn skills that give you the confidence to enjoy your off piste skiing experience. Using a combination of cutting-edge teaching techniques, and the most experienced instructors, we will safely guide and teach you in carefully chosen resorts that offer the very best conditions for you to learn, progress and enjoy.
Groups will run in both mornings and afternoons and will switch around midweek. This gives you every opportunity to learn how to tackle different snow conditions.
Minimum requirements for this course:
• Intermediate skiers who can ski groomed blacks and easy off piste to the side of the pistes – level 4+
• Skiers with a level of fitness to be able to ski off piste for 3 hours per day for 5 days
• The ability to get up unaided in the event of a fall
Skiers with no previous off piste experience should first join our All Terrain course level 4. This course will help you gain the confidence and techniques to enjoy the fun of off piste skiing.

High altitude snow sure skiing in Tignes.
Tignes is linked with Val d’Isere, which is one of the biggest ski areas in the world with skiing from 2100m – 3600m it offers amazing conditions from late November right through to late April.
Home to many of our ski courses, it has a fast and efficient lift system and a wide variety of hotels and chalets. Modern sports centre, swimming pool and so much more.

Our instructor Sam was excellent. He really pushed me and I feel I have really developed with skiing off piste. You can see that all the instructors just love skiing so much and there enthusiasm is unwavering. I’m really looking forward to booking again soon and would also love to bring my son along at some point in the future.
As usual, Snoworks provided great tuition and found wonderful off piste terrain for our enjoyment.
A cracking week with excellent instructors who adapt quickly to available conditions and offer plenty of individual technical coaching, not just cruising around. Will be back next year.
Snoworks instruction was, as usual, very professional , honest in application and opinion, and dedicated with health and safety of the clients at the forefront of all decision making. The off piste course was adapted to suit the conditions present and applied with good effect. Renting out of equipment was also available on request. I have done Snoworks since 2005 and regard them as one of the best instructional ski companies.
