Snow Reports Starting September 29th + Great Skiing Routes

Tignes glacier opens on September 29th 2012 and with it we’ll be bringing you all the latest reports on the snow conditions direct from the slopes of Tignes and The Espace Killy and when the full season starts in December we’ll also be reporting directly from from the slopes of The Three Valleys.

We’ll be continuing our series on “Great Skiing Routes” in the Espace Killy and The Three Valleys. For a taste from last season you can check out:

The Tignes glacier looks to be in good conditions. There’s been three snowfalls over the past week, last nights snowfall brought the freezing level to below resort level. Any snow below 2,800 is currently not staying but the good news is temperature are remaining low and the ground is pretty solid. Above 2,800 is looking good so aim high if you’re coming skiing in the next few weeks and you should be in for a treat!

We’ll be skiing on the glacier this coming weekend and bringing you video directly from the slopes so if you’re thinking of coming out to Tignes over the next couple of months you’ll see exactly what the current conditions are like.
